We offer many services that provide customers with high quality scanned images that can be used to enhance their business processes and conform to certain legal requirements. The most common services are listed below but please call us if you have any other requests.
Scan to Disk
Scan to Disk is the simplest service we offer. We take your documents that are ready for processing and produce high quality images from them. Once scanned the original paper can be returned to you, archived or securely shredded. The images are then given an agreed file name format and copied to CD or DVD media. This media can be used or shared amongst your colleagues to view the documents at anytime. Documents saved to this media can be in many formats but usually saved as TIF or PDF files.
Scan to Hosted Service
This is the most popular solution for businesses of all sizes. We take your documents, scan them as high quality images and save to removable media such as CD or DVD. However, at this stage we index the documents with agreed index fields that enable you to search for values within your documents. For example you may want to find an invoice by date, supplier name and delivery postcode. Your images are stored within a dedicated server environment that you can connect to via a secure internet connection. Web based software will offer you a fully featured interface to search, print, email, fax and view any documents you have stored with us. The CD or DVD media is sent to you with a copy of all your files for future backup. This is a very attractive solution for businesses that want to conform to legal requirements by storing their documents for a period of time in a secure manner. Once you begin using the hosted solution there are no limits to the amount of data stored and you can add users within your business that may need access in a few minutes. Please also note that we offer a 'free text' search capability within the hosted environment, this allows users to simply type phrases or words to find content within their stored documents.
